The food here is fantastic. Amazing soft pretzels, great hamburgers, really good pizza, and ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FRENCH DIP. Seriously, try the French dip.
I go there on Wednesdays for karaoke. The K.J. who runs the show is great and helps to make it a lot of fun. The servers take great care to make sure people are getting what they need and along with the management, they always makes me feel welcome and comfortable .
I came here to watch the Bears game last Sunday because they have great seating and TONS of TV’s. At 1st I was confused because there weren’t many people in there prior to the game and then half way through the 1st quarter almost every seat in the place was taken! It was like a David Blaine magic trick. What I didn’t know is that they have THE BEST PIZZA IN THE CITY. BRO! If you like tavern style pizza I’m not sure it gets much better. Very crispy with generous and fresh toppings. The one in the picture is giardinara and bacon, but we got another one with sausage, pepperoni and banana peppers and I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything better. And yes, I’ve had it all... Pat’s, Vito and Nick, Pizza Chicken Ice Cream, Nancy’s etc. My previous favorite was Bill’s Pub in Mundelein, IL. The service and drinks were great. Much better than what I was expecting with it just being a sports bar. They were very accommodating with helping tables watch the game they wanted. Also, they had some flavored wine spritz in a can, called Costal that I really enjoyed as well. At the end of the day, I came because it looked like the best place to watch the Bears game (which it turned out to be), but I left knowing my new favorite pizza place! I’d say I can’t wait to come back and try other things, but I know I’ll go back to the sausage, pep and banana peppers!
Great night watching football. My bartender Mark made for some great conversations and cold beer. Can't go wrong.
Good place to knock back some beers, watch some sports, and enjoy a chill atmosphere. Intimate vibe without feeling crowded. A good amount of TVs to watch all sorts of sports. Fish tacos were fire. Burgers were solid with the nice kind of crisp on the ends. Wings were just ok. Above average sports bar experience. Would definitely come back.
Wednesday night is karaoke night! Nice place. Nice location near #80 bus stop. Not too far from the blue line. Good food. I had some wings and tater tots. Greg, the GM is a blast and a half! He was the karaoke DJ. Waitstaff was quick and friendly! Hopefully will come back again soon!
Great food, friendly staff, and a fun ambience that makes you feel instantly welcomed! Karaoke nights are awesome! The KJ, Greg Anthony, who is also the operations manager, has an amazing karaoke song collection and will sometimes add people into the queue if he knows they want to sing, as soon as they walk through the door! So cool. They’re doing DJ Fridays now too! I’ll definitely come back for the dancing. Always something for everyone! Love this place!
The food at Leader is flat out amazing. I’ve tried a number of things and have never been disappointed.
